We started the day with Annie's swim lesson at Splash, followed by lunch at a yummy mexican restaurant.
From there we put Annie down for a nap and Adam and I sat in the sun and read our books and listened to some Jack Johnson. Once Annie was up we all made dinner together. Grilled Veggies and burgers.
We popped open the bottle of sparkling wine that Lori got us and Mommy and Daddy had some bubbles and Daddy blew Annie some bubbles of her very own.
I am very sad the weekend is coming to an end, but only 4 short days way the next one begins!
Annie excited to get her New York presents.
Three different versions of the Statue of Liberty. To quote Annie "Wady Wiberty has a crazy hat"
Annie also got a fabulous costume jewelry necklace Daddy bought her off of the street. Mommy's treat did not come from the street, Daddy knows better than that. ;-)
Annie showing some attitude getting ready for swim class.
Wearing her flip flops like a true California girl.
This swimsuit is a year old but still fits our little peanut. I love it.
Daddy ready to swim with his girl.
Mommy ready to take some pictures.
Splash Swim School. Bobby's great kids went here and they are all on great swim teams so we decided to give it a whirl.
Kick Kick Kick Kick
Happy Girl.
And under she goes! She did great. The class teaches how to kick, paddle, go under and hold your breath, pull yourself along the edge of the pool, and get out of the pool on your own. We missed class last summer with our move so she is catching up this year. The teacher says she should need about 4 lessons at the rate she is going before she can move up. We are looking forward to a lot of practice in our developments pool this summer.
High five for the teacher.
Getting out like a big girl.
Dont you want to pinch that tushie?
Jump in!
Annie at lunch after swimming with her "cocktail"
Mommy and Daddy enjoying their cocktails. It was a big mistake to order a pink drink. The entire lunch Annie was BEGGING for some pink drink.
Annie helping Mommy set the table. When I cut the flowers for the center she told me that we needed more red flowers.
Drinking the treat that Jeegs brought us! Thanks Jeegs, we drank the whole bottle!
Our fire screen came. We had to order it custom b/c the firepit was not round and its large. The man who made it lives back east and he did a great job. This will make it safer for the little ones and protect guests from popping lava rocks.
Delicious, fast, and easy. Annie loves eating her "hangburger"
Dancing to some music with her Daddy.
Cheesy smiles from Annie's house.
Singing songs.
Ending the day with Bubbles!
