Fresno Baby Shower

I had another great shower this weekend in Fresno given by my Aunt Cheryl and Aunt Susan. We had about 30 ladies which was fantastic! It was so great to see everyone, and their excitement and kind wishes for me really got me excited! Only 6 weeks and 3 days to go!

I got a ton of amazing gifts, but my Aunt Laura and cousins Erin, Nicole, Ashley, and Megan got me me the most creative gift I have ever seen! It was a huge bag and they told me to start pulling on this cord, as I did a clothes line full of TONS of baby clothes and gear, arranged by size started to come out, it literally went around the entire room before it stopped, it was darling.

I now have everything I need for this little one to arrive! December 26th can't come soon enough, at this point if she wanted to show up a week early, I surely would not object!!

Dawn and Rebecca's Wedding

With the timing of the recent election and the results on prop 8, Dawn and Rebecca's wedding came at a pivotal time in history. While the results of the election were clearly not what we would like them to have been, witnessing D&R getting married only re-enforced to me how important it is to continue to fight to maintain everyone's rights.

I only wish everyone who voted yes on 8 could have been there to see what they are taking away from people. On the brighter side, the love we saw between Dawn and Rebecca was just perfect, that day was typical of how they have treated each other, and all of us, for the last 10 years.

I cant wait to spend the next 10 sharing our lives together!!
