I got some great crafts for Annie to do in preparation for Passover next Friday. Because Adam can't get much time off in April we are doing the Seder at our house. I am starting to teach Annie about the story of Passover and the first part was to do some cool crafts. Adam and I were cracking up at these puppets, look at the box carefully!

Hallway Gallery
We got one more house project done. I bought these ledges a few months ago but had been feeling so sick and generally tired I never motivated to get them hung with Adam. Adam and Todd hung them today. I love how it came out. Loads of flexibility to build a family wall with books, pictures, cards, keepsakes etc.
Some of our frames came out worse for wear from our move (took me nearly 2 years to get them out!) so I have a project in front of me, but, for now I am happy with the progress.
2 projects done, 3 to go!

The Last Supper
Last weekend we went up to the city to Dave and Jen's for a "Last Supper" with the Dempseys as well. Kerren is expecting twins, Jen is expecting twins, and we of course are expecting only one. But we have 3 kids between us now and after August we will have 8. We figured now was the time to get together to have a last fling.
It was really nice to see their place in SF (beautiful and huge) as well as enjoy a great meal prepared by Dave.
The kids had a great time together. Little Elizabeth was a bit overwhelmed by Nate and Annie but I think she held her own!
Happy times with old friends.

Fresh for Spring
Our new HomeGoods opened down the street from us. Hurray for me! I got a few things to touch up our lanai. I had seen lamps used outside and I just loved the idea so I found a few that I loved as well as a few new pillows.
I have about 5 things I want to do around the house for spring so this knocked one of them off of the list.
Happy Spring!

Adam's very first new car!
Adam has been driving my 2001 convertible BMW for a while now. It
was a fantastic car for when I was 22 and single. Now that we have one
kid, and another on the way it just wasn't going to cut it. It barely
cut it for 1 kid. Plus, with Adam commuting I never felt it was the safest.
We wanted a third row but didn't want a really big car, or a van, so that led us to about 5 choices and surprisingly enough, the best of class was the Buick Enclave, it's one a ton of awards in the luxury category if you can believe that.
So off we went today to trade in my old car for Adam's very first brand new car. He was a rock star negotiating. He knew all their internal prices, and the value of our BMW, I knew every spec. of the car inside and out. We were rockstars together. Because of their inventory we ended up with a fully loaded car, (we likely would have skipped the DVD players in back) but hey, I can't complain.
So it begins, another part of a new chapter. A very exciting time for us, feeling very blessed.
We got the black leather, but below are some pictures of the inside.

Attention Grandparents!
Grammy, Gramps and Grammy Cathy (plus a few more very important people ;))
Annie has a message for all of you to see, a very exciting day for us!
Better than the exciting news Annie has to share, the baby is 100% perfectly healthy thus far! This is a day to celebrate. Adam Annie and I could not feel more blessed. I can finally exhale and start to get excited (excited = go shopping!)

St. Patty's Day Visit to Fresno
My Mom is 1/2 Irish. So St. Patty's day is a legit holiday for her, not just a reason to get drunk. We went to Fresno this weekend to have a nice relaxing time and it turned out to be a really nice weekend. We sat by the fire as it poured and hailed, watched a lot of movies, and enjoyed a fantastic St. Patrick's Day meal.
Annie got to play with her blocks.
Grammy has bought Annie 4 awesome educational games. She gets them at some special store for teachers in Fresno and I have to say Annie loves them. Thanks Grammy!
Annie got to see hail for the second time in her life, though, the first time she was no more than 6 months old. She had a grand old time walking out in her new rain gear and checking it all out. Why is it that toddlers look so damn cute in rain gear?
Irish Beer
Irish Butter
Carrot Cake
Irish Soda Bread (not my fav in the land I have decided)
I told my dad I wanted leftovers for a sandwich and he ran out and bought a professional meat slicer. I love you dad! I should have told you I wanted diamond.
Chilled beer mug.
Beautiful meal we enjoyed together as a family.

Lets go fly a kite!
This post is about 3 weeks old but it took me a while to get to it. When my parents visited a few weeks ago Daddy and Gramps took Annie out for her first kite flying experience.
Daddy got his workout in running around to get it up but they finally did. After a while Annie accidentally let the kite go. My dad got an awesome picture of it literally flying out of her hand.
Daddy saved the day and was able to get it down. All was well with the world. I am getting a bit tired of this weather going from 75 to 55 in a matter of a day!
