Rachel and Annie's Gab Session

After so many many many many months of waiting to meet Miss Rachel Head we FINALLY got to see her! Mommy Ashley and Mommy Darah were also quite pleased to see each other after many many months of being weekly pen pals. (We are convinced we were separated at birth we are so similar!)

The girls had a good time and it was fun to see all the cousins together. Annie's cold was letting up a bit tonight so we FINALLY got some of her smiles out of her.

We head home tomorrow, so with this post our last from the desert!Cute x2

"Wanna trade bows?"

My hair is almost long enough for tiny pig tails!

"Annie and I have matching bows now, we are going to be best of friends like our mommies!"

"I'm so flipping cute it hurts!"

Chaos!.... AGAIN!
Annie just can't take it anymore...shes ready for her bed!

"Gavin now listen up...this is girls night, you better not step out of place!"

"Okay Annie, you got a deal...you two are pretty cute to look at...when I am older will your introduce me to your cute friends?"

Darah and Jayden!
Daddy 1 and Daddy 2 with Thing 1 and Thing 2!

I decided I love my uncle Todd!

On the Road Again!

Snow Day!

Snow day was really done quite well here! They had put together two large sled runs, one for big kids, the other for little kids. Santa came out and they had a huge breakfast bar, DJ, presents for the kids, and dancing. And this is all before the afternoon of fishing!

We spent about an hour at snow day and headed back for Annie Girls nap.

Gav and Annie are more interested in each other than Santa....
Grammy was not letting the kids have all the fun! She got right in with the action with Jayden and showed all the kids how it was done.

Unfortunately she got a little too fancy and they had a wipe out, but shes a pretty hip Grams and rolled right with the punches!

Jayden's very first sledding adventure. She must have learned how to do it so well on Wii sport. She was a champ!

The scenery in this picture makes me laugh. Snow. On the Golf Course. In the Desert. I'm just waiting for a chocolate river to start flowing.

'Cause that's how we roll

Days three and four at Bighorn were fantastic. Well really think this whole place is fantastic!

Cathy has taken such great care of all of us. Yesterday we did a fabulous girls-day where we went shopping on El Paseo and then Cathy took the ladies to lunch at her club house. Such a treat to walk in and have them know exactly who she is, have fabulous service, excellent food, and even better wine and gossip! The boys did a knock up job watching the kids. We have great men.

Many many many thanks to Cathy for having us all here for such a great and memorable holiday. The beginning of many more of our holidays with you! Next year on the rotation it's Cathy's turn to have us here for Thanksgiving, I can't wait to make a week of it put up a to-die-for tree together!

Today we did a few errands, and then, when Cathy, Michelle and I came home this is what we pulled up to:

The boys were on their way to the park with Adam holding the two babies, Eric driving, and the bigger girls in the back. All of this in Cathy's new hot little black golf cart.

Grams says, "Wait for me guys! I don't want to miss out on the fun!"
Auntie Kelly saved a seat for Cathy in the other cart.

At last Annie is in her element...dirt!

Grams bonds with Annie and teaches her the fine art of shoveling sand.

Jayden, Annie, Grams and Ainsleigh build mud pies.

Throwing dirt is fantastic.

But do you want to know what is even better than dirt? SNOW! And here at Bighorn they bring the snow to you. Tomorrow morning the driving range will be covered with the icy refreshing stuff! Snow, in the desert, can you believe it? Stay tuned for pics...
