Sit Happens.

And apparently for Annie it happens everyday now. I fear mobility is just around the corner. Then the sit will really hit the fan. But that's okay sit happens everyday. The question is...who really gives a sit?

Grammy and Grumps came for a visit this weekend. We had a great time, and they brought Miss Annie her very first lap top!!! She can now geek out with mommy and daddy while watching Stargate Atlantis reruns. Annie absolutely LOVES the toy. It is definitely a new favorite of hers. But really, what is not to like? It beeps, lights up, and parts of it fit in her mouth...it's her dream toy.

I think Grumps, Adam and I got a bigger kick out of it than she did. How many jokes can you make about a toy laptop? Apparently limitless. We asked Annie what kind of operating system she was running. Did she ever get a blue screen? How big was the hard drive on that thing? Did she use i.e. of firefox? How long was her battery life. Her reply? Drool. Good times.

To only further reinforce my family's nerdiness Adam and I went to see Star Trek the movie on our only date night this month. IT WAS AWESOME.

"Grammys pretty good on this thing too...she told me she can run a PC and and Apple now...who knew Grandparents could be so hip"
"Grumps...quit messing with it, I know what the problem is, let's reinstall the OS."

" Ahh yes, it's all clear to me now. My anti-virus was out of date, I just need to make a few tweaks here..."
" Dang it...battery died, Grumps this never happens with my toy piano. I think it has parts that can withstand more heat. Think a cooling pad will help?"
