Santa Baby

Success! Annie had a great time seeing Santa, she gave him her list, and NO Uncle Todd there was NOT a puppy on it ;-)). If Uncle Todd gives Annie a puppy we will give Uncle Todd a 3 year old.

I was thrilled that Annie was not even a little bit afraid this year. Last year she would not go near him so we missed the picture as I did not want to force her.

We are back on track!

Getting set up for Annie's party!

We are having 4 of Annie's little friends and their Mothers over to decorate cookies for Annie's birthday.  I almost have it all set up so I can enjoy the weekend.

The girls got rolling pins, cookie cutters, chef hats and aprons as a party favor.  I have really enjoyed planning a small party this year.  You can do everything a bit nicer and spend less money overall.

Each girl got a kit they get to decorate.

I am super lucky that I don't have to go into work on Fridays.  I am looking forward to a fun filled weekend of baking, parties, new friends, my parents, holiday movies and projects and taking Annie to see Santa at Black Hawk.

She asked when she would get to give him her list.  On that list as of this morning was purple trains, and princess castle, new blue cups for the kitchen, and an kitten.  Um yeah, she will NOT be getting a kitten.

She is just too much fun at this age.  Rupal and Lisa kept telling me to wait until she was able to digest the world around her and I would fall in love with her all over again as intensely as the day she was born.  They were right!!!
