Let there be light
Today Adam installed our overhead light in the nursery. He has been immensely helpful getting all the hard stuff done so we can try to relax and enjoy our summer. My Dad has taught Adam well!

We will now be able to pin point the exact day in Annie's life when she decided shoes were fabulous!
Spring Days
This weekend the weather was just beautiful. We got nearly all of our Summer/Spring planting done in the back yard. I love how much of what we did last year came back. Makes this year so much easier.
Annie got in her swimming suit and had some hose and water fun. I bet by next week our roses will pop and I will post some pics then.
I am looking forward to enjoying the yard the next few months before it gets too hot!

Uncle Todd
Uncle Todd left this weekend. We have had such a wonderful visit with him for the last 8 weeks. He was working at QuinStreet doing some IT/Networking stuff to see if its an area he would be interested in.
Everyone at work loved him, and I hope it was a great experience.
On the personal side we absolutely loved having Todd here. It is a rare opportunity for Annie to get to know her Uncle so well and they really got along great.
I dont think Annie got the concept that Uncle Todd was leaving for his home vs to work for the day but I am sure she will be very sad when it hits home. I cried a bit when he left b/c I was loving how happy Adam and Annie were when he was here.
I really hope he goes into tech and moves to the Valley and we have him close by.
Below is a picture of Todd in one of our IT guy's hats at one of their many happy hours out. I think he makes a right handsome cowboy!!
We will miss you Uncle T. Visit often! Annie needs to beat you at Zingo regularly ;-).

Friday Fun with Friends
On Friday Shannon, Kellen and Adleigh came over to the East Bay for an afternoon.
Shannon and I have been friends since 1998. You know you are getting old when your college friends got back nearly 15 years. Her baby, Adleigh is 1 and adorable and Kellen was one of the sweetest most well behaved boys I have met in a long time. It gives me hope!
He and Annie got to feed the ducks, play on the playground, have dinner by the water and then get Popsicles with Daddy afterwards so Mommy and Shannon could chat.
Was the perfect way to start a sunny weekend.
