For dinner I decided to make caramelized onion and pancetta lasagna with a homemade Caesar Salad. Everything turned out really good. A rich valentines day indulgence. For dessert we shared good wine, Godiva chocolates Adam bought, and a beautiful Blood Orange Tart that Lori made that was delicious.
Daddy got mommy some beautiful Onyx and Sterling beads. A long necklace that I can double up, and a bracelet. I love them!! Don't they look great?

Ingredients for dinner. I love all the whole good foods out.

Someone gave us this red pan when we got married. This is the first time we used it, but I think its just perfect for Vday!

Oven ready.

Adam picked up these beautiful chocolates for us. They are too pretty to eat!

The candlelit table was as romantic as any restaurant I know of. All we needed was an ocean view and a full moon.

Chambord with Champagne and fresh raspberries. We went through the whole bottle plus two more bottles of wine!!!

Fresh from the oven.

This was my first homemade dressing. It turned out REALLY good. I will be making it again no doubt. I got to coddle my first egg to make it. Who knew you could coddle an egg.

Lori's beautiful blood orange tart.

With homemade whip cream and dreamy caramel.

Annie woke up around 11pm and decided she wanted to come and play Taboo with us. Given the fact she can only say like 10 words period she never said an off limits word. Nice job Annie!
Happy Valentines day! I think my next recipe will be some kind of fish. I am thinking salmon.
