T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Annie is trouble these days. The gates have gone up, the plugs all plugged, the wires tied, and hidden. With all this she still finds ways to get into trouble every day. It's extremely cute when she outsmarts us. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon enough, but for now, we are first time parents enjoying it all for ourselves.

Take a look at Annie's latest trick. We have since dropped the crib down to the lowest level. She is gonna be ready for a big girl bed before I know it, which is fine, I already have it picked out...of course ;-).

8 Months Old!

Annie is 8 months old this week. The time has just flown by I tell you. She is crawling everywhere, started to make more sounds, and is now starting to pull herself up. She feeds herself loads of food now. Turkey, cheese, melon, banana, mango, avocado and her puffs! It sure makes it easier having to feed her less and less mushed up food, and on the whole she seems a lot happier being able to do it herself. So far, knock wood, there is nothing she won't eat.

Sleeping through the night happens on average 5 out of 7 nights. We aren't the cry it out kind of parents apparently. Every night we say we will try, but we never last more than 10 minutes. Alas. Most nights she does sleep 7:30-7 though so we will take that.

She is getting 2 teeth! The broke through on the bottom center. We think this is one reason why she has been waking up a bit more lately. Poor pumpkin.

We did her 8 month old pictures in her little polo outfit. We figured you can't wear polo without a pony so we let Annie have her first go on hers.

I can't believe the fall is just around the corner. I'm thrilled though, cooler weather, great decorations, and homey nights in front of the fire. Bring it on!
