Dying Easter Eggs

I love to dye eggs.  The best eggs I have ever done was at Grammy Cathy's house with the girls, but these were still a lot of fun.  Back then Annie was just over 1 and not into everything.  Now that she is 3 she wants to do everything herself which leaves less time for Mommy, but it was all well worth it.

We got lucky because Lori is in town from NYC and she came and joined us for some egg dying fun.  Boy oh boy is Annie ready for the Easter Bunny tomorrow!

What is egg dying without Mimosas?

After we were done I got the table set up for Easter Brunch tomorrow.  Tonight we are doing take out and all relaxing.

Uncle Todd and Adam got outside and played some football like the old days.  Good times with Adam's handsome Dan.  (look it up ;-)).

Passover 2012

Uncle Jon surprised Grammy and Annie when he showed up for Passover.  Annie was so excited to have her Uncles (we missed you Eric!) around for the Holiday.

Gramps brought Annie a bunch of stories and Annie patiently sat there as he read all of Bambi.  Which as an aside is a terrible terrible children's story in case you have forgotten.

Uncle Jon brought Annie a Belle doll.  He had to redo her hair so the bow was just right.

Mommy's matzo ball soup.  I have been pretty tired and not cooking a ton but I have to say this turned out quite good.

My mom made my Grammy Woods' brisket and it was delish.  She started making this recipe about 10 years ago and we all really enjoy it.

I made my flourless chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream.

No introduction needed here, I am embarrassed to say that more than one person went back for seconds.  Seconds on pressed fish of unknown origin in jelly.  Barf.

Annie and her finger puppet plagues.  I think she was a bit shocked when we all burst into a long song about some goat my father bought for two zuzim.

Uncle Todd!  Uncle Todd has been staying with us for about 2 months while he did some work for my company.  It has been such a fantastic treat for all of us to have him around.  Annie is going to be devastated when he leaves and she cant run to his room in the morning to greet him and scream his name when he comes home at night.

I saw this at Costco, didnt buy any of it, but it did totally crack me up!!!
