3-D tastic

In other news Mommy is FINALLY getting the built in done in her family room for the TV.  We have a big cut out but just slid a piece of furniture in it which looks kind of incomplete.

I am getting my last bid in this week and could not be more excited.  Talk of bead board and moulding really does it for me!

Why should I get to have all of the fun?  I shouldn't right?  Adam got in on the action with a new TV. Our TV was on its way out and we wanted to sell it before the bulb was dim to the point of needing to be replaced.

Adam chose this HOT Samsung 55, 3D TV that is in their 8000 series.  The frame on this baby is razor thin, it looks like the picture is floating.  We will have a foe wall put in the built in for it to hang on.  If it was possible for a TV to be sexy, this baby is hot.  Avatar here we come!  We got the TV all set up last night and the picture is like nothing I have ever seen.

Mommy is thinking the built in will look similar to this but with 2 shelves instead of one, only 2 cabinet doors, and in the area for the TV will have a false wall that comes much further forward for the TV to be mounted on. We will also have the bead board on the cabinet doors not just behind the shelves, and of course, pewter hardware.

Adam is getting new speakers and a sound bar and all of that so we have to work that into the design but needless to say I am very excited.  Happy Valentines Day to us!!!

Crafty Kind of Weekend

Sorry for the lack of posting lately.  Annie girl had Pneumonia last week!  She was out of school Tuesday- Friday and Mommy and Daddy had to take turns staying home with her.

To add icing to the cake the day that Annie got better Mommy got her TERRIBLE cold, though luckily it did not turn into Pneumonia.  Today is the first day everyone is feeling decent in our house.

This weekend we made Annie's "All About Me" poster for her week at school.  I have never seen this girl so excited about anything in her life.

She helped me choose all of the pictures, told me it was mandatory that it be all pink and purple with flowers, and had to have all of the things she loved.

Adam got in on the fun and did all of the ribbon weaving and gluing on the top, I think he is quite the crafter indeed.  Annie decorated all the letters with glitter glue, glued on all of the flowers and chose all the pictures.  Mommy had to do all of the cutting and hot gluing.

We have a video of her telling all about the things she loves and why as she explains her poster.  Adam will post it shortly.

This afternoon its on to coloring Valentines, or as Annie says "Balentines" for her class party.

I think the second half of Feb is shaping up to be much better than the first!

Annie got bored waiting for Mommy to finish cutting the mats so she made and owl craft with Daddy.  They had a hoot of a good time.
