Grams, Annie, and the Pumpkin Patch!

Grams came to visit from the OC this weekend.  We have had a fabulous time.  We have been busy non stop.  We went went shopping, lunching, model house touring, playing, and glass pumpkin hunting!  Grams got Annie some FABULOUS winter clothes and a new lovey animal!  Thank you Grams!

We saved the pumpkin patch so we could all go together on her visit.  Annie got to see Jack (*any pumpkin is named Jack to Annie), some lambs, a pony or two, and the Farmers Market.  A great time was had by all.

Annie on the hunt for her pumpkin.

"Guy these all look as big as me!"

"Grams what do you think of this one?"

"I think this one grew mold Grams, its GREEN!"

"Ah yes, these look much more my size."

"I think this one is excellent!"

"This is either a little horse or a very big dog, I can't decide which"

Mommies favorite child and two asses.  JUST KIDDING.

"Mommy I would like one pumpkin and one pony to go please."

Mommy's Kind of Pumpkins!

The great glass pumpkin patch.  I love this place.  Today we went to Cohn-Stone studios to do our annual pumpkin picking.  My mom got me started on my collection about 8 years ago and now our whole family has collections going.  Every year we go to the studio show and pick out some pumpkins.  This year Cathy and I went together and it was great.

We had a lot of people to buy for and we definitely stimulated the economy.   Those people think I am crazy every year.   I now have all segments of our cabinets covered.   I told you that space wouldn't stay empty for long Uncle Todd ;-).

Go visit Chon-Stone, they are open for a few more weeks to the public and I really love the artists, tell them the crazy lady who buys pumpkins for her family every year sent you!

Our haul for this year.  Cathy bought a few big ones to finish out her collection.  I love the bright ones she got as well, now I think I need some bright ones.  ;-)  My mom got some bright ones for her collection too.

Our collection is below.  I think I need to keep all the ones Cathy and my mom bought and put them up there too... don't you ?
