Didnt do much this year, with Jack and Hanukkah we wanted to spend our time with the family not working outside.  But, I think its quite cheery.

Happy Hanukkah

This Hanukkah was very special for me because it was the first one we have had in this house where I was not sick with awful pregnancy illness. I had the energy to do it right and it felt great.  

We had braised short ribs, and homemade latkes.  We did the candles and the dreidel and presents and all that shmaltz.  Happy Hanukkah!

 Adam and I even celebrated with a bottle of bubbly as we cooked and sang AWFUL Hanukkah songs.  Was a really lovely day.

 Annie opened Grammy Cathy's gift tonight and loved it!!!  She proceeded to play for hours with it.  Thank you Grammy C!!

 Mini doughnuts for desert, fried in oil for those who would think its an odd choice.n
