We didn't get to the Gingerbread house yesterday but we hit one up today! Annie had a blast with this one and the best part is, unlike the house on the table, she can eat this one.
We are off to Lowes to look at ladders and lights. We will save the outside of the house for next weekend as we are just still tired and not up to it.
I did manage to get the bows done for my wreaths! It's officially the Holiday Season!

Inside of our house for Holiday 2011!
This year I reduced 6 decorated trees down to 1. Well 3 if you count the ones with ribbons, but I don't. ;)
With a few new pillows and a new ribbon palette I was able to give the house a totally different feel this year. I also added a few appearances from Santa b/c Annie thinks he is the bees knees these days.
Adam made a joke that our house is like Target. 15 aisles of Xmas and 1 end cap of Hanukkah stuff. People will be glad to know that I got rid of 11 tubs of holiday decor and gave it to my Mothers Group. When I called Adam to tell him that it was out of the garage he said it was like I was talking dirty to him.
We are having 2 holiday parties at our house and I can't wait to share the coziness!
Love the way the plaid pillows change up the room.
I feel like I finally got the mantle right this year. Last year I wasn't loving it at all. This year with the help of two hooks it all hung much better. Annie also loves the giant Santa.
This is the tray I found in down town Danville. I decorated the house around it. I love it and Annie likes to look at the pictures of the kids on it and tell me which ones are her friends.
Only 3 gifts left to wrap and I am done!
Lori thought I gave my creepy elves away, but of course not, they are guarding the tree!!!! How many can you count just in this one little area? Lori, they will FIND you;-).
This is our elf on a shelf. Her name is Ginger. Sometimes her male counterpart visits us and his name is Gingerbread.
I made the Annie's Apple cake recipe into muffins and they were delish!
Had fun with a lot of fake snow this year. If only we would get real snow here. We came SO close last year. Alas.
Annie was so disappointed when she tried to eat this house and realized she couldn't. She does like to ring the bells on the trees however.
Tomorrow we tackle the outside. Why oh why must all the holidays be so dang close together!!!
