We missed the post from Annie's 20 months so we are catching up a few weeks later. Now that we are all moved in I promise to keep up better.
Annie is so much fun these days. She knows peoples names well, she loves to read, she loves to play with toys, and she is talking up a storm. There are words only few-and-far-between that she won't repeat.
She is becoming more of a picky eater, but still overall is great. Her love for Mommy's shoes has not gone away, as you can see below. She is much more interested in what other kids have going on which we love.
Her favorite things are being outside in her yard, taking baths, coloring, and playing in her playroom. She is all play, no business, just as it should be.
She is starting to want to walk the steps like a big girl, and I have noticed she is trying to be much more independent, but at the same time more affectionate. Physically, she is getting taller and leaner which is normal. But very sad to see all her little chub disappear. I have noticed her hair has a lot more red in it in the sun, which I love, I would kill for her hair color.
Anyhow, we are coming up on 2 very soon. Where has the time gone? While the days are often busier than we would like, we are making the most of each of them. My hope for Annie is that she continues to be the happy curious little girl that she is, and she never loses those animated faces!
We are headed off to the wedding now, but I took some time to take Annie's 20 months pics around the house doing some of her favorite things. Playing, coloring, using Mommies shoes, going out front, sitting on the fireplace (Uncle Todd taught her this!) sitting on the "Annie sized couch" in our bedroom, smelling flowers (she blows out instead of sucks in!) and of course, eating cookies!

Annie loves to climb up on the chaise. It's just her size, and now she can get off the bed alone. Freedom.

Crayons are always a winner. We are much better about staying ON the paper now.
Annie doesn't get to go out front yet too much. We are still teaching her the dangers of the "black street" (thanks for the tip Kelly) but before we know it she will be out here with the rest of the kids after dinner.
