Happy Hanukkah to all my Mishpocha

Oh dreidel dreidel dreidel I made it out of clay!

Latkes. It's the Jewish version of hash browns, only better!

Who says that there are no lovely Hanukkah decorations?

Dinner is served! No chazerei from my parents, they are the real deal.

"Hey guys, IT'S HANUKKAH!! Check out this awesome wooden Hanukkah set my Grams got me. I have my own latkes, a pan, a menorah, the whole deal is great, no schlock from my Grams.

around around around it goes.....

"I'm gonna give it a spin here guys, let's test my luck. "

"Oye Vey, It's a nun. Nada, zip, zilch. What waste of a good spin. "

"This latke is made of of wood...what do you take me for a shemiel."

"Whaddaya talking, those latkes aren't done."

"I'm PRETTY sure I'm not supposed to play with candles, but no one is taking them away so....."

We lit the Hanukkah candles over skype with my Grammy and Grumps then we called my Grams and did the prayer with her on the phone.

"I know I give my grandparents such naches!"

"Hey Grammy, your menorah is beautiful! I wish I was there to give you a kiss!"

"What's this I hear? I get presents all EIGHT nights? That must have cost some serious gelt."

"I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to ride in this, but hey, if Daddy is offering, I'm riding! What a mensch my daddy is"

"My oh my, this is quite the haul. Are you really serious, there are SEVEN more nights of this shindig? Awesome."

William Myron Demar

Today we had a visitor. Kelly Demar, my best friend growing up, came over with her darling little boy William. We had a great time together. We caught up, ate pizza while it rained out, and shared baby tricks. I hope that William and Annie grow up being great friends!
