Today was a really excellent relaxing family day. We went to the nursery and bought the pots for our backyard. Who knew agreeing on pots would be such a big deal but unless you just get super cheap ones they are an investment so we wanted to do it right. We ended up with some that we love, they get delivered on Monday!
Then we headed over to Blackhawk plaza across from Annie's school and had a great lunch.
And the best part? The workers were here, ON A SATURDAY! I asked them if was para el dio del Mama for me. They laughed at me. I don't care why they were here, but they finished the stone on the wall! Cap to come Monday, then the lava rock, drain caps, and we are done!

Yogurt puts Annie in a dramatic mood.
I was so over the gross rotting wooden trellis this bougainvillea was on. I saw these great metal ones at the nursery and we got a new on for the plant. I love it!
We also got two for each side of the door out front, and two for some pots in the back for some climbing roses.
I think we did a pretty good job of picking stone for the wall that ties in with the stone on the front of the house and blends with the pavers.
I am getting really excited! You can see the old wall in the firepit, the stone is such an improvement. (The inside of the pit will be sealed over)
