I don't know how she swallowed a cow!
She swallowed the cow to catch the goat,
She swallowed the goat to catch the dog,
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat,
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird,
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
That wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her,
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly,
I don't know why she swallowed the fly.
Sometimes I feel like this is how my day unfolds. I do one thing, which leads to another, then to another, and before I know it, I'm knee deep in some crazy project.
I decided that the loft would now officially be a kids zone, so I wanted to get a bulletin board. This sent me to HomeGoods (gotta love them if you are a good shopper) where I found some goodies for myself!
Im loving the way things are shaping up for the summer. Out with the older junk, in with what is becoming my own style.
New cushions can really do wonders! Gotta love Target!

I have this new fascination with things that look like artichokes. I saw them in this months Veranda magazine, and on one of my favorite design blogs, and fell in love.

This is the placement of the bench from upstairs. With as much entertaining as we have been doing it never hurts to have more seating.

I found these two fabulous coral pieces mounted on an acrylic base. They match my lamps perfectly. I saw them originally from Horchow (Neiman Marcus home store) and I got them for 15% their cost.
Last step of our bedroom was to add some addition storage to the bathroom. While doing so I then found this pink and gold piece which tied in perfectly with the prints on my wall. Who needs a spa?

I doubled up on the pink flowers, and threw a bunch of battery operated candles in this bowl. Battery operated candles on a timer are my new favorite thing. They go on every time around the time I take a bath, they don't drip, and they actually smell like vanilla. Candlelit bath each night, just add wine!

One thing I did hate when taking a bath was staring at the empty wall above the toilette. Really puts a damper on the pamper. ;-). I contemplated shelves, but that just leads to clutter. Ultimately I found these great pieces for a steal. A little creative placement to make the ceilings look higher and I'm in love. I may never come out.

Last but not least I decided to display this beautiful sterling frame we got when we were married. It holds our wedding invitation. It is sided by these beautiful hyacinth statues, which as you know, is my favorite flower.
