Ipad, Upad, we all scream for Ipad...

Okay maybe that's not how it goes, but Annie does ask for it by name! She has been doing great with her learning apps. I am truly shocked by some of the things she can do. Before I know it she will be reconfiguring the password on our router.

If the blog posts all suddenly stop you will you know Annie hacked our system ;-).

Peanut Butter Cookie--Bake off!!

We are having a bake off at work on my team. How this happened I can't recall. There was a great debate about the hatch marks in peanut butter cookies and why they are there, and after that it turned into a giant smack talkin' afternoon. Best way to settle the battle of nuts? Bake off. Rules? None other than you have to do the baking yourself. No cheating James.

I chose a recipe with the help of my friends Elena and Louise. Thank you guys! I used a combo of two recipes. They are really very good, but I have some stiff competition in Tricia. She has her own boxes personalized with her initials that's how much she bakes! And who knows, James, the dark horse, could come out and beat us all. Sonia did not own a baking pan so I'm not so concerned. Leah is the unknown contender. We have 15 very happy judges waiting for 4:30 tomorrow!

I'll let you know tomorrow how it goes! At the very least, Adam was happy for the treat!

Play Date

We had our play date today at Sycamore Valley Park and it was a fun, but chaotic time. Just our luck we couldn't get the kids to sit down at exactly the same time. But on the upside we had champagne and cheese to compensate. We decided next time we would do it in our yards so that we can cage the little buggers in.

Annie loved the birdies, who in turn loved her cheerios. She also loved the water park until it sprayed her right in the face, then shock, then anger ensued. She proceeded to yell at the water spout, "NO, NO, BAD". It was quite funny.

I was lucky enough to get a second date. This time to a movie next week, and sometime soon a trip out to the barn where Christine and her family keep their horses! Giddyup! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Why is Annie wearing Jeans you ask? Because it is it the only thing she would let me put on her without screaming like I was pouring lemon juice on an open wound. That's why.

Jameson and Christine. Jameson is not afraid of the swings like Annie. I hope this rubs off on her.

Anne decided she prioritized coloring and bread on the same level. She wasn't going to put either thing down.
