We have come a long way baby...

We have done a lot to our yard.  No one can say we let the Bay Area's yard limitations hold us down. We have done so much with this space since we bought the house 2.5 years ago.  (Look at how little Annie is!)

This was about 2 years ago when we redid the yard.

This is today, I love making things green.  We did a ton of work in the yard this weekend, I cant move I am so sore!  We had all the drip irrigation in the front redone (was terrible from when we bought it) so now I can plant anything anywhere.

We added 3 rose trees to the front yard.

I added two new topiaries to the front on either side of the garage, now that we have irrigation there they should thrive.

Uncle Todd our boxwoods are taking off!  Adam got me some kind of gizmo to shape them together...at long last!

I even have water running to my planters...

We did a fair amount of work in the back yard.  And added a number of new plants to the family.

A purple hydrangea and a lemon tree.

Two trellises with lady banks roses on them.

A new climbing rose

I can't wait for my existing hydrangeas and roses to pop!

This is what these plants looked like 2 years ago.

Our Foo Foo.

We added three trellises to the wall agains the garage and added vines to the base of each.

With the new topiaries near the garage I had one to move to the back.  I added and orange climbing rose.

Lastly we finished all of the lighting for the back and side yards.

Adam finishing the lighting.

To top my flower related weekend off my wonderful friend Melanie dropped by these beautiful flowers  to me.  Thank you Mel!

Sorry there arent more pictures of the kids this weekend.  Between all of this work and shampooing the carpets upstairs and down we didnt really do anything fun with them.  Annie managed to have Avery over for a playdate and that was about it!
