This was my last full week home on maternity leave. The last 4 months flew by in a blink of an eye. While I am happy to return to work because I enjoy what I do and who I do it for, I am so sad to leave my little Jack. We have hired a Nanny, Sara, who I feel good about so hopefully I will settle in nicely. I have packed about 4 posts into one here so enjoy!
Tonight we went out to the Kallingal's holiday party. So great to get to see all my girlfriends and bonus, Adam and I made a date night out of it and got dinner first.
This is the second cardboard cutout I have seen! The other is my cousin Andrew, oddly its still funny the second time around! Kara won it at the white elephant.
Jack is LOVING his bumbo. This kid has been trying to sit up since he was born.
Annie and I made cookies for our Hanukkah party.

Annie and I had a girls day on Thursday. We did a little shopping for some xmas gifts for grandparents and had a yogurt together. Such good quality time.
Then I made braised shortribs for my husband. Such a good wife!
And on Friday we had matzo ball soup!
We always joke that when Adam dies his tombstone will say "Is there mayo in that?" and mine will say, "why am I SO tired!" But it's all worth it. You only have 1 chance to make your memories. I'll sleep when I'm dead!
