Boo...Hoo.

Annie decidedly did NOT like her costume today. She threw 2 fits getting it on an two more while getting it off. It was just not her day. We decided to forgo the Halloween parade in favor of carving a last minute pumpkin, watching Harry Potter by the fire, and handing out candy to kids in Halloween PJ's.

We had so many kids (and its only 7:30) Adam had to go get more candy. We have given out candy to over 100 kids so far. (Judging by the piece count in the bags) The kids in our neighborhood have been so polite and kind to one another. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. I am off to get out my wooden pilgrims, scarecrows, and Thanksgiving decor... of course!

Pumpkin transforming into Jack

Annie knows the difference between a pumpkin and Jack. That would be Jack O Lantern. But, what she didnt know was to make that transformation we had to hack up Jack. She was not a fan.

Annie watching from her seat with her little pumpkin.  She decided that painting them was much more humane.

Daddy what are you doing???

Oh man, he is bleeding orange!

I can't look!  I just can't believe you did that to poor Jack.

Code blue!!

Oh poor Jack.  I will give him big hugs and kisses to make it all better.

The Louise hats are here!!!

Every year our friend Louise sends Annie the most BEAUTIFUL hand made hats.  She wears them all season, and actually loves having them on her head.  This years hats were AMAZING.  Thank you so much Louise!!!!!  You couldn't find hats this beautiful in a store.  Annie will wear them a ton this season I am sure.  Annie sends you many many kisses!

Ready for Trick or Treaters!

Fall Table

Grammy and Gramps came for Halloween. I made some great soup, and Annie's Apple Cake for a cozy fall meal! It was divine.

Today was fantastic, I had lunch and a Mani/Pedi with Christine. It was so relaxing and QUIET!

Silly Gramps...

Butter-fry.

Butter-fry.

Annie is going to be a butterfly for Halloween. Or, if you ask her, a Butter-fry for Harroreen. It has poured the entire day today, so what better to do than dress your kid up and bribe her with a popsicle to make her wear her wings and smile? Nothing. Hopefully she will tolerate the costume as long next week for the parade!
