Today Adam installed our overhead light in the nursery. He has been immensely helpful getting all the hard stuff done so we can try to relax and enjoy our summer. My Dad has taught Adam well!
I love you babe!

Shoe Fetish
We will now be able to pin point the exact day in Annie's life when she decided shoes were fabulous!
Spring Days
This weekend the weather was just beautiful. We got nearly all of our Summer/Spring planting done in the back yard. I love how much of what we did last year came back. Makes this year so much easier.
Annie got in her swimming suit and had some hose and water fun. I bet by next week our roses will pop and I will post some pics then.
I am looking forward to enjoying the yard the next few months before it gets too hot!

Uncle Todd
Uncle Todd left this weekend. We have had such a wonderful visit with him for the last 8 weeks. He was working at QuinStreet doing some IT/Networking stuff to see if its an area he would be interested in.
Everyone at work loved him, and I hope it was a great experience.
On the personal side we absolutely loved having Todd here. It is a rare opportunity for Annie to get to know her Uncle so well and they really got along great.
I dont think Annie got the concept that Uncle Todd was leaving for his home vs to work for the day but I am sure she will be very sad when it hits home. I cried a bit when he left b/c I was loving how happy Adam and Annie were when he was here.
I really hope he goes into tech and moves to the Valley and we have him close by.
Below is a picture of Todd in one of our IT guy's hats at one of their many happy hours out. I think he makes a right handsome cowboy!!
We will miss you Uncle T. Visit often! Annie needs to beat you at Zingo regularly ;-).

Friday Fun with Friends
On Friday Shannon, Kellen and Adleigh came over to the East Bay for an afternoon.
Shannon and I have been friends since 1998. You know you are getting old when your college friends got back nearly 15 years. Her baby, Adleigh is 1 and adorable and Kellen was one of the sweetest most well behaved boys I have met in a long time. It gives me hope!
He and Annie got to feed the ducks, play on the playground, have dinner by the water and then get Popsicles with Daddy afterwards so Mommy and Shannon could chat.
Was the perfect way to start a sunny weekend.

Productive Weekend
This weekend was not the most enjoyable in the land but we had a good outcome none the less. We painted Annie's playroom, cleaned the carpets and started to go through 3 years of Annie's toys that had no method of organization.
The amount of manual labor Daddy did, and the amount of furniture he and Uncle Todd moved was something to behold. I am grateful for both of them. We also had the great fun of getting our builtin completed in the family room.
This was the last big thing I wanted to do to this house and I am just thrilled with the outcome. Lastly we got the hardware put on our cabinets in the kitchen. A small thing I know but made me so happy!
Today we had a birthday party for one of Annie's best friends little sisters, Addison. The party was adorable. It looked like it belonged in a Martha Stewart magazine. I wish I had more pictures of it. At the end of the day we all went out for a nice dinner to enjoy the beautiful day we had here. Looking forward to next weekend because we have no plans and it should be some nice quiet family time!
Annie after a bath.
Annie let me use a curling iron on her hair for the first time.
Charge!!!
Annie and one of her BFFS. These girls kill me.
Annie with part of her gang.
Live fish for centerpieces, the kids were so excited!
Annie rediscovered the ballerina in her jewelry box and is mesmerized. Could this kid be any sweeter.
This is the first project I did for the nursery. I saw it online and it was like 150 bucks but I made it myself for 25.00. I am really happy with how it came out. We also got all the walls painted and we are on our way!
Best buy from the dollar bin at Target. 15 glow bracelets for a buck. This was Annie's first glow stick and she thought the were pretty incredible. Especially cool in the bath.

Hoppy Easter
Happy Easter to everyone. We had a really nice morning here at the Heller house. The bunny came to visit and brought 3 baskets for Annie. One was from Grammy Cathy, one from Grammy and Gramps and the other from the Big Bunny himself.
He left his pink prints on or sidewalk and up our walkway which Annie thought was very special. She was looking for him to see where he went, but as she told us, "that bunny is a very sneaky guy" and she never got to see him.
She was thrilled with all of her goodies. After we did baskets Annie realized the bunny had left her an egg hunt in the back yard and she had a great time finding eggs. I think the bunny needs to be a litter bit more clever next year.
We ended the morning with a great brunch that my mom prepared for us. I hope everyone has a very Hoppy Easter
Annie got her very first bike helmet. She is ready to hit the streets. That Bunny is always putting safety first.
Enjoying all of the goodies from Grammy and Gramp's basket! Jewelry, pink polish, rings, oh my!
Daddy trying on Annie's new lipstick (chapstick)
Egg hunt!
Emptying her candy into the bowl. It will take a loooooong time for her to earn this many treats!
Uncle Todd and Annie having some QT together.
Annie loving the Lala loopsy that Grammy Cathy sent along with the bunny.
Lastly Annie had rollers put in her hair for the very first time! Such a big girl.
