Patriotic

 I have always wanted to get patriotic bunting to hang up at my house.  The lady around the corner does it every year and I love love love love it.  This was the year to go for it.  I have spent so much darn time in the garden this year that I wanted it to look good for the 4th. Making things grow really really relaxes me, fulfills me and takes the stress down a NUMBER of notches.  I like to putter around, do my trimming, fertilizer, check the drip, prune, and watch something grow from nothing in the winter into something so beautiful.

To me it's like decorating, you start with something that is empty, or ugly, or just okay, and you make it beautiful.

Anyhow, in about 2 weeks most things will be in full bloom, I just hope I dont miss the whole thing on vacation!

The Hydrangeas we plated are growing in nicely as well.  After a summer of neglect being pregnant with Jack and then just having had him last year the yard is getting good attention finally..

My new rose trees front and back are doing well...

 Even the flowers in my back yard are patriotic!

Starting to lay things out for the Gottlieb/Heller beach vacation next week!  I can't wait!
