Adam's 30th Birthday

It's amazing what you can dig up when you find a camera. I had these pictures online but then lost them, so better late than never!

Adam & Todd both turned 30 this last June and we had a BBQ at our place to celebrate.

We had so much food it was insane, but all so yummy! We had about 25 people over and ate BBQ and drank...two of Adam's favorite things.

Eric and Michelle flew in to help us celebrate which was really nice, and made Adam's 30th great!

Baby Heller's first trip to Hawaii...

Beautiful black sand beaches...

At the end of this summer Adam and I decided to take one last trip before Baby Heller arrived. It was just amazing. We went to the the Big Island in Hawaii and stayed at the Orchid and the Four Seasons. There were some great travel deals to be had because of the economy.

I have taken some great family trips in the past few years, but there was something really special about this trip for both Adam and I. We both agreed that for whatever reason, it was even better than our Honeymoon.
We snorkeled, went on some easy hikes in some parks, checked out the black sand beaches, and rented a car and drove around the island. We of course also spent a good number of hours reading in the pool and enjoying the great food and service.

Our next family trip we will have a little one tagging a long, but we are already thinking of where we plan to go.

Sorry the post is so late in coming, the pics were on a camera that I could not find the cord for!

Aloha!

Thanksgiving 2008

This year we had TG at our house because I did not want to travel so close to my due date. It's a good thing we planned it that way because I think I would have needed to stop for the bathroom every 30 minutes if we drove out of town!
We had Adam's mom Cathy, his brother Todd, and his Aunt Kelly and Cousin Jayden. The boys made the turkey and it turned out quite nicely.

We had a nice time shopping for holiday stuff and watching some great holiday movies. Jayden and I made cookies, which we are still enjoying.
Cathy, Kelly, Jayden, Adam and Todd went into the City so Jayden could see the Golden Gate Bridge which was a big hit and then had lunch in Sausalito and went to the Marin Headlands.

It was a really cozy, warm holiday with family, and next year we will have Baby Heller to celebrate with too.

My kind of Pumpkin Patch...

This is me in the back of the artists studio...the sun was in Adam's eyes so I cropped him out....

These are my pumpkins on the dining room table for TG....

And arranged in the kitchen for Halloween....

About five years ago my mom started collecting these fabulous glass pumpkins (she has such great taste) I came home for thanksgiving and instantly fell in love with how they looked. Anyone who went to my wedding knows I love fall, and pumpkins. My parents bought me my first one, and since then we have been growing our collection.

This year Adam and I went to the artist's studio in October and picked out a few for ourselves and some for others. It was like being at Disneyland for me. I wanted to bring them all home.

If pumpkins aren't your thing, they have all sorts of leaves, squash, acorns, modern art etc, in a ton of colors.

We can't wait to go back next year!
