Annie's 2 month check up
We had Annie's 2 month check up yesterday. She is thriving which is just wonderful. She is 11 lbs 3 oz's ! Little chub. She is 1 foot 10 and 1/2 or 22.5 inches ;-). She is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 70th for height. Her neck strength really impressed our Dr. which is nice...I always like an over achiever ;-).

The technology behind these two videos makes me laugh.
This is a video is a digital copy of a VHS tape that my dad made on film reels of a slide show playing slides made from pictures taken of me. Make sense?
Any how the purpose of posting so many people keep saying who does she look like? These are the only digital copies I have of me as a baby, some you can see well, others not, but its still fun!

I personally think she is her daddy's girl from the eyes up, and mommy from the nose down. Clearly she did not get my hair...but hey that's what bows are for!

A Good Night Sleep...well relatively.
Annie tried out a new pillow last night. It's sort of like a Boppy but not. It has sort of a diaper in it for the baby to be "strapped in" so she cant turn over and suffocate. All though at this point that's not much a worry as she can full lift and turn her head in both directions.
Anyhow, we tried this pillow out last week after some recommendations. She loved it! Fell asleep on her own a few times, slept in 3 hour blocks (who knew that would be good) and stayed in the pack-n-play all night as opposed to in my arms or in a bouncer in the bed where she normally ends up. She slept from 8-12 from 1-4:40 from 4:50-7:30 Awesome!
It could have been the shots, it could have been the baby Tylenol, but I am PRAYING its the pillow. She is in for her morning nap on it right now and still seems to enjoy it. I feel sort of like Miranda in Sex And The City when her neighbor told her she was not an awful mom b/c her kid was screaming, she just didn't have the "chair". Apparently I didn't have the pillow! Lets hope it lasts!
