A few of you have asked for pictures and a "tour" of the new place. This is the best we could do, but you are always welcome in our home if you would like to take the in person tour!
There a lot of things about this place that Adam and I love. To start with, its not 750 square feet. That alone is a reason for us to get excited. While our old apartment was great for me, and then us, it was becoming a it like a clown car. Things kept going in, but Adam could not figure out where I was finding room for them.
Here we have some nice shelves to display our beautiful wedding gifts!
Looking down from the top of the stairs...just imagine how much garland I can get on these stairs!
Our very first digital thermostat...it's the little things in life that make you happy. If only it gave you a day by day digital read out of your PG&E bill!
This is the view from the Family Room back out to the front door. The door to the left it the laundry room.
This inside our laundry room. It's very exciting to us because its actually a ROOM. You can open the doors and stand in it....amazing!
As you can see, we have more games than cleaning supplies, I'm not sure what that says about us...
On to the family room. This is where Adam and I spend most of our time. These pictures are looking down into the room from our loft.
Another view looking down...
The view as you walk into our family room. Adam did an AMAZING JOB hanging all the drapes. He and my dad spent no less than 7 hours hanging over 40 frames throughout the house, as well as 14 drapes!
We love the natural light the place has... I could get tan watching TV.
And speaking of TV...our 56 inches of pure joy sure does like its new home!
The only thing we don't like about this place, (apart from the fact its on the 3rd floor with no elevator) is the lighting fixtures. This place was built in the 90's but I swear they must have found overhead lighting left over from the 80's. Brass is a fashion don't...kind of like spandex on old ladies...it just should not be done.
This is the view from our couch. We have a gas fireplace now instead of our old wood one. Its very convenient, and sure beats carrying logs up 3 flights but none the less, its just not the same as wood. If you look around, I have more than made up for the lack of warm light with candles...its like Hanukkah every day here!
Our fish, and our little chef pig find good new homes!
This is our balcony, it will be the perfect place for us to BBQ and enjoy the sun, as soon as we get a BBQ, until then maybe we can cook some meat over all those candles I have...

This is the main kitchen area. We actually went down a bit in cabinet space, but we created a pantry off the kitchen in what as meant to be the coat closet.
Adam and I got so many fantastic wedding gifts. However, in our old house, you could not really see them. With the new place and all the room we can really appreciate all the beautiful things we have received. My favorite piece of furniture is the China Hutch. It's no coincidence that the green on the walls matches the green in my china...
This is the view from our dining room. If you look between the two units you will see the water ways that I was talking about earlier. It may not be the Pacific Ocean, but it beats a swimming pool full of screaming 5-year-olds (our previous view.)
This is our bedroom. It absolutely love it. Its so airy and relaxing. I feel like I am in a hotel room everytime I go to bed. We chose to paint this room a light blue, which is what our first bedroom was, so we could re-use all of our belongings. They look great in here!
I love our little window seat. Its a great place for us to put pictures of those we love, items we have brought back from our trips, and treasures from childhood. When its rainy out it make a picture perfect retreat.
Another great job hanging drapes by Adam and my Dad!
I just love the way our wedding pictures look above our bed. It's such a great space to display them. The black and white goes perfectly with our color scheme. A happy place to fall asleep!
All of our old furniture fit so perfectly in the new place!
This is the view into our bathroom. The hallway in our Master Suite is as long as the whole hall way in our old apartment...
This is our bathroom. I absolutely love that we have 2 sinks! We can both wash our hands at the same time, you know, just in case we ever actually needed to do that...
This is the view out from the bathroom into the bedroom....
Upstairs we go! This is the loft, its right off the top of the stairs. We have turned into a craft/reading area. The couch is one of the new pieces of furniture we got. Its extra deep so two can easily snuggle up to a good book and listen to the rain. On the walls we have pictures of all those we hold near and dear to us. The loft is a great place to just come and relax. It's also convient to throw laundry down from...

That's all we have to show for now! Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you here in person soon!
