And, we're back.

Last week I took a break from blogging b/c Adam and I spent our first weekend doing absolutely nothing in ages. The only thing we did was dance class. We watched football, made a few good fall meals, sat outside by the fire, drank good wine, and played with Annie. It made me really long for the cool crisp days of Fall to come.

While we have only spent one Fall in San Ramon I have to say the season is really done justice here. I absolutely can't wait!

This weekend I had some good girl time on Thursday with Lori. She is moving to NYC in October to start a new adventure. I took the day off and we spent it at the spa and lunching. I really think that needs to be a Thursday tradition. Who is in?

Friday I spent with a few girl friends from San Ramon, hit up Nordys and Trader Joes and we were off to Fresno.

We were there for my cousin Jeremiah's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and the weather couldn't have been nicer. Was really great to see all the family and made me SUPER excited for Thanksgiving with all the kids/grandkids.

Uncle Jon bought Annie a Paddington Bear.  He had one almost just like it (but bigger) as a baby.  Thank you Uncle Jon.  I think you and Annie really bonded this weekend!

Not very many pictures of Annie from this weekend.  She had a rough Saturday night which involved hysterics and vomit.  I am happy to report she is back to normal now.

Jon brought his darling girlfriend Kate home.  We had a great time getting to know her and definitely did not have a shortage of laughter (mostly at Jon's expense) in our house.  So many good stories to tell the new girlfriend!

Two handsome couples.
Two handsome gentleman.

Nude shoes are the hot thing still.  My Mom, Kate and I were styling.   I'm fairly certain I picked out Kate's exact shoes with Lori when she went to Oprah.  Which means that Kate and I have similar taste which only further reinforces my opinion that she is great :)

Erin and Ashley's kids were ring bearers and flower girls.  They could not have been cuter.  Annie has the cutest cousins going!

The happy couple.

The Wood's clan.  It's amazing too me how big our family is and we were missing the Bill Woods clan plus, Annie, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Logan and Milo.  Such a great bunch!

Well that's all for now.  I hope that everyone is easing into fall, football, turned leaves, apple cider, pumpkins and cozy fires!
