Memorial Day Weekend Day One

We got out Annie's easel and put it on her side of the yard so she could paint more frequently.  I love her first work of art.

Annie saw Mommy outside with her lap top and wanted hers too.  The other morning when I went to her room to get her she woke up very bleary eyed and said "Mommy, I need to check my email."  If it weren't for child labor laws I would send her to work.

My cuddle bug.  Since Adam left for NYC Annie has been hugely affectionate.  It's been a lot of work without him but the cuddles are a huge pay off.

She does not discriminate who she gives them too.

 Pedicure for the holiday weekend.

When Grammy and Gramps got here Annie LEPT into her Gramps' arms.  She is getting far more outgoing with her Gramps as well.

And of course she was over the moon to see her Grammy.

Grammy and Gramps brought the Hellers a fantastic "yard warming" gift from the Holiday Boutique in Fresno.

A beautiful stone base on a metal ring of leaves with a dome for cheese.

I love it!  Looks a bit like Michael Arams stuff.

Dinner tonight was lovely, roasted garlic, homemade brucschetta, Mom's famous pilaf, salad, and tritip.  Tomorrow night is surf and turf.

 See you tomorrow!
