We had a great event that I feel very proud of. More importantly I got to work with 3 wonderful women who I respect in so many ways. Rupal, Kristen, Sonia and I had a really nice time, a lot of nerves and stress, but in the end we were rewarded with a lot of people who felt they were treated to a great day.
Here is to next year! Yes, Kfed, I said next year. ;)
But until then I am very much enjoying the start of my 4 day weekend this week!
Kfed and I, this is before the event started. Our eyes get redder and our hair worse as the day went on.
This is a very famous SF room. We had our cocktail party in it as we flipped the meeting room for the dinner portion.
Our meeting room before folks arrived.
Hammy busted out an amazing rap. Never seen a white boy do that, but he brought it with his original QS lyrics. I love that I work with such smart and witty people, keeps me on my toes!
This was Sonia's first year working with me on this in a formal capacity and I can with all confidence that this will not be her last. When it came to the logistics she rocked it.
Kfed and Hammy, friends from Kellogg, bring such great energy and banter to the company!
Three shots that put together make up the room. It's amazing how many people we have now.
Jokes being made about Olumide and John. They look like brothers to you right?
While we are very high tech now with video segments, gelled lighting, and rear projector screens, I have to say my favorite was when Mackley busted it out old school with some foam board and had Bron and Tom help him. That was so 11 years ago ;-).
Rupal did a beautiful job flipping the room on a budget. I was really impressed with how far she stretched a dollar and how different the room looked from our day time activities. Rups you know how to party!
I am clearly exhausted at this point in the night, but, thats my girl so I have to post the picture! Rupals feather earrings are not only very in, they matched the centerpieces she did. Of course.
This is my first husband Jay. We got married about 7 years ago at our birthdays (same day, same year, same hour!) called Wholy Matriphony. Everyone needs a fabulous gay husband.
I loved the big Urns Rupal had brought in. These table cloths were actually a burnt rust color with a green shimmer. The flash made them look green even though they were not.
Not hard to make such a pretty room look nice.
As always I feel very proud of the company I work for and all we are working to build.
