Gearing up with Car Ride Gear!

This is it folks.  We are getting ready for the big show.  We are going to drive from San Ramon to Laguna.  We are going to see our OC family and for my Gramp's 90'th birthday! The drive will be six hours of pure quiet and serenity.  (wishful thinking? ;-))  I have been getting the car ready so it has all the entertainment options we will need to keep Annie happy that long.

We have the iPad with a million movies on it, we have the kid.  Now we have the iPad mount, car USB charger, and the toddler headphones, all items I recommend to other parents who want to use their iPads in the car for movies.

I am hoping this set up buys us at least 2 hours of quiet.

In  addition to the mount we also got her toddler headphones which are not only designed size wise for little ones, they have volume controls on them so they wont go louder than recommended for little ears.  They are also extra cushy.   http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007NWL70

Lastly we bought 2 USB car chargers one for Annie's Ipad and one for Mommys.  This way Annie can just watch movies while we drive and we dont have to worry about running out of juice.  The wire there goes right into the outlet in the back seat so we have no wire mess.  Can you tell I have a thing about messy wires?  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003N7NO4Q

 Annie and Mommy enjoying Nemo in the comfort of the car!!  You can see what is left of the bruise on her nose.  The huge scab fell off last night which made me happy as I dont want a big scab in all of her pictures from Disney Land.  Did I mention that?  We are going to the happiest place on earth with Grammy Cathy, Gramps Grammy Wendy, Uncle Jon, Uncle Todd and Cousin Jayden!!!!!!!  I think that the Eric Hellers will join us in the afternoon as well.  Its going to be great day!!!
 

 After lunch Annie got Adam to eat a bit of Yogurt.  Only for her would he do this.  It is confirmed yet again that he does NOT like Ice cream.
