This weekend felt a week long. After we finished decorating we got to go out on date night AND a holiday party. Big time for the Hellers. We had a really nice time eating out in downtown Danville and then over to a new friends house for a Holiday Cocktail party. Annie got to have a babysitter and her friend Dakota spend the evening with her so it was a win win for all!

Annie's sitter did a great craft with them where they made door knob decorations for their rooms. Santa is falling down the chimeny.
Tonight we had Christine, Jason, and Jameson over. They were the first family I got to know here and I cant believe we have been friends for a year and a half. That almost makes us old friends right? It's amazing how time flies. When I met them Annie was just a year and a half old!
We made rack of lamb, potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts which were a big winner. That will definitely be a repeat.
For desert I made some fresh mulled pear cider and a gourmet hot chocolate. I was sipping it all day!
When we were at my SIL's house a few years ago she made this brie with honey. It was really delish. I made it tonight as an app and it was a hit. Thanks Michelle! Always got to give a shout out when I get a good recipe.

Best of all Christine and Jason brought over two! beautiful bottles of Pride wine. They knew we loved our visit there and they have quite a nice wine collection at home. We dusted the first one but will save the second for a special occasion.
December is shaping up to be one BUSY month.
