Who wears short shorts?

My dad wears SHORT shorts!

Horse Feathers

This video will really only be interesting to those who know my Gramps. But ever since I was little he has always said "oh horse feathers" and from about 5 on it was my mission in life to convince him there was no such thing as horse feathers!!!

The mouse ran up the clock!

A star is born here... I think my interpretive representation of Hickory Dickory Dock is quite insightful....

A Day at the Zoo with my mom the Hottie!

Hot Dog!

Hot Dogs on a stick are a Gottlieb family favorite. I learned to love them at a vey early age!

Athlete or Beauty Queen?

There are 2 parts to this video. In one part I am getting ready for the Olympics, clearly I did not make the team. In the second, I am getting glammed up to be Wonder Woman. I am much more at home with curlers in my hair than grass between my toes...

Tickles....

Uncle Boops has a soft side!

My...bird?????

So, while converting all these videos I found out that I had bird!! It was a gift from my Aunt Laura. Only problem? I never had a bird! You can tell by my moms face that bird was going back faster than you can say Petco.

I'm posting this one because neither of my parents believe I ever had a bird...well I did, for about 10 minutes. Alas.

My First Baby!

In this sitting I opened a baby, and clothes....and I even checked the label on my new sweater! I seemed pretty good at taking care of that baby, lets hope I'm that good in real life!

Are you ready for some football???

We had a travel packed weekend this week, but it was great!

We drove to Fresno Friday night, and Saturday morning *early* the boys (Adam and my Dad) drove to LA with my cousin Richard to watch the UCLA vs Fresno State game with my brother and my cousin Matthew. The Dogs won and the boys had a great time...beer bong contests and all!

My mom and I decided to drive over to Carmel to get some pumpkins from the Organic Farm we love there. We got a ton last year for our wedding, so it is a new family tradition for us. We got some beautiful pumpkins, had a great lunch, did shopping and we were home before dark... isn't California great!!!

Today my mom and I did some scouting for the holiday season...I have big plans for decorating my house now! We had our traditional Sunday Dim Sum and now Adam and I are home again!
I realized we have plans every single weekend from now until November 9th... how did that happen! I'm exhausted just thinking about it all!

Room progress...it's getting fun!

This is the view as you walk in. We are still waiting on the tall dresser, and the chair. I think its all gonna fit great, and there is still a ton of floor space for play!

The pictures on not yet hung, but I found these great bead board frames and then matted and framed pictures from Peter Rabbit that I took from a book my mom and I found.

Crib Detail

This is the dresser I am using as a changing table. The mirror will be hung on the wall and not just set on the dresser...but that's a boy job for Adam!

The changing pad cover patches our bedding.

Here is another lamp I made, it will either go on the book case or the tall dresser depending on where we put the small TV. The table its on now will be taken out of the room when the chair comes, and the chair will go in its place.

These are all picture of the art. They were hard to photograph but if you double click the images they get bigger, im very pleased with how they turned out...who doent love a rabbit in a rain coat?

This one is my favorite!

Curtains are done!

More progress today! We got the curtains and the ties up, and the bedskirt on. You sort of can see the color of the wall on the right, but not all that well.... We are very happy with how things came out. Adam and I make a good team! :-)

Nursery Progress

Here are some of our items laid out together....

The dark green is the fabric from our new rocker and ottoman.

I knew I wanted really cute tie backs, and I wanted to make them
but when I went to buy the fabric by the yard it was gonna cost way too much.
I decided to go to Ross and buy white drapes and cut my fabric frome them, each
panel was $7.99....and I got two ties from each...for a $25.00 project I'd say this turned
out quite well!!

And we are off and running!

Panel # one "sewn" and finished...only four to go!
Posted by Picasa

All four panels finished!!!

This is how the final product will look on the drape pannels.
I tied them on a navy towel for an example.
