Entry way done

I love a warm entry into a house. Very pleased how this turned out. See Uncle Todd, I told you I had a plan ;-).

Bath Time!

This weekend has been as relaxing as it has been busy, which is always nice. Last night Adam and I sat outside and looked at the stars which are beautiful here. Listening to the crickets and just relaxing.

Today I had to forgo the Kite festival with Lisa, Kerren, Shannon and kiddos to run over to Redwood shores to return a carpet cleaner and buy a couch. No where near as much fun, and I'm so sorry to have missed, but really trying to get everything done before returning to work next week.

Today I met some more new neighbors, this week I met 3 new ones. One of them has a 15 year old daughter Madeline who babysits, SCORE. And the other family just moved here from Arizona and have twin 19 month old babies. SCORE!

Tomorrow I am off to the welcome brunch for my new Mommies group. There are about 30 new members out of about 600 moms. I ended up meeting the Co-President through QuinStreet and she is fab and I can't wait to meet her in person after our phone conversations. I hope that everyone has had a great weekend.

A special Happy Birthday to Jayden. How on earth she ended up 9 already we will never know, but we love her oodles!

After all the hard work Annie enjoyed her bath in her new tub!

Very productive!

This weekend we got a ton done! Only about 6 more things to hang. The dining room is done sans the silk drapes from our old place I would like to hang on either side of the windows, hopefully we will get to that next weekend with my dads help.

At first I thought that I wanted a more formal dining set, but after Adam and I discussed we wanted all the rooms in our house to be very usable space, and once we got our set in, I just loved it.

Very happy with the progress, and thrilled that all of the leaves fit in my table, we can comfortably seat 8 and you can walk the whole way around the table, which if you had dinner at our old place you know was not quite possible.

Master Bedroom

We were, with the help of Uncle Todd, able to have a very smooth move. I cannot even tell you how amazing Todd was with Annie, with Adam and with packing. Truly could not have done it without you Todd, thank you so much, we all love you and can't wait for you to come back. Annie says "awesome" all the time now, that's her way of telling you she wants you to come back!

Because of all of Adam and Todd's amazing work I was able to use my week off to get a lot done on the decorating front. We have 3 rooms completely done. Pics to come. First off is the master bedroom. We have a long chaise lounge on order to go where the bench is but other than that, we are done!

The new chaise will go against this wall when it comes.

Annie's new favorite thing is to roll around on all of the floor space in our bedroom. Makes me so happy!

Kitchen

I think my second favorite room in the house is the kitchen. I have room for ALL of my dishes, all of my pots all of my everything! It's going to be a joy to cook here. I even found a home for all of my beautiful pumpkins that I love.

Only thing left is the shutters to be installed in here and the family room on the remaining windows but I think it all looks great.

Random extra picture of the entry way.

Annie's bedroom

Annie's room is 100% done. And I love it. We set aside the blue bumper for now and to change her whole room all I needed was a new skirt, and a childrens book. I made the lamp shades.

I chose a book about a little girl who loved to wear her Mommy's shoes because that is one of Annie's favorite things to do, and shoes was the first word she said very clearly!

Adam, my picture hanging hero and champ. He has got this down to a science!

Annie in Mommy's shoes!
