Fathers Day!

For Adam's first Fathers Day we went to Fresno to celebrate that, and my dad's birthday all in one go. My mom really outdid herself in the kitchen! Saturday we had a big dinner with Uncle Dennis, Aunt Cheryl, and Cousins Logan and his mommy Allison. Sunday we had BBQ'd ribs that my brother Jon made with my mom, they were amazing! It was great to see everyone and relax in the beautiful Fresno sun :)

Exploratorium

Annie and I went to the Exploratorium today which happens to be her 1/2 birthday. The Exploratorium is a fantastic hands-on science museum for children located near the Golden Gate Bridge. There were more gizmos & gadgets and widgets & whatchamacallits than you can shake a stick at. Unfortunately, the camera battery died within the first twenty minutes of our visit so I only got a few pictures and videos, but I think it was enough for a blog post.

The Squint

Annie has developed a Clint Eastwood-esque squint that I felt we had to share. I think she got the squint watching Daddy squint at the television screen. Perhaps it's time to update the prescription on his glasses. For the time being, this is how she smiles. It's quite cute, but we hope it's just a quick phase because it makes for disturbing pictures.

You decide.

Happy Birthday Grammy Wendy!!!!

"Hey Grammy Wendy, are you listening?"

"Very good, now I have a message for you. I can't use markers yet, 'cause I eat 'em, but Mommy and Daddy helped me out with this."

"Okay guys, thats a wrap...now give me my signs back."

"Thank you, I wasn't quite done eating this one yet..."

"Heaven"

"Hey guys! Give me my sign back!!!! Oh well. Happy Birthday Grammy Wendy, I love you SOOOOOO much! I can't wait to give you a snuggle"-- Your Lovey, Annie

Oh Brother, where art thou?

My Brother Jon seems to have no fear. He has had this trait for as long as I can remember, and for the most part, it has served him well. I mean sure, it got him into a few uncomfortable situations in his younger days, (I still don't believe the car rolled down the driveway and made a u-turn and ended up on the front lawn by itself ;-)) but for the most part it has lead him to great adventure.

Travel to the Middle East in the middle of a war to see where our people come from? Done. Pack pack around Europe for a summer to countless countries alone? Done. Go to Thailand for a visit? Almost done (this winter.) Climb Half Dome in Yosemite as a quick hike? Done. Drive his sisters BMW through a river and really really muddy road? Done. Check out brother Jon below on his little adventure last weekend. I am so proud of you Jon! What's next?

AMAZING!
Our Indian Guide days have clearly served Jon well.

Really? With my car? Really?

I thought this was a joke, but apparently not so much. I guess the X3 didn't float away so no harm done...er...I think.

Eat My Shorts! - Bart Simpson

Although the abovementioned scholar would like us to eat his shorts, it's hard not to want to eat all of our little Annie in her green shorts. I know cannibalism is somewhat frowned upon, but I think Annie is just asking for it. After all, she is advertising her 'berry sweet'-ness.
