First Blue Jeans!

Annie and I ran some errands today and now that she is bigger she can wear actual clothes out of the house which is fun. It's so fun to see how much she has changed in the last 6 weeks!

Who do you love?

I am so excited about all of the Valentines clothes that are out right now because they are red! Annie already has 3 great V day outfits and Grammy Cathy just sent her an adorable one which we love! It will be Vday week at the Heller home...a different outfit for every day! Annie's onesie may say that she loves her mommy, but she looks pretty fond of her daddy too!

Toasty Warm!

It has been rainy and cold here this weekend (it's about time!) but we were not going to let that stop us from running some errands. Annie is finally big enough to fit into some of her 0-3 month clothes. Terry Bayless gave Annie this great little outfit. She was so cozy and soft to snuggle. She also felt her first raindrops on her face which she welcomed with a surprised expression, and then promptly fell asleep.

Annie'sTummy Time

Since the day she was born Annie has been freakishly strong. She was lifting her head and looking around when up on my shoulder at about week 2.

She can turn her head from left to right while holding it up, hold it up on her tummy or being held up right, and she can roll from her back to her side, and then back again. So our question is when will she be able to do the dishes ;-). So we are working on her tummy time now regularly, she is quite happy when doing it.

Speaking of milestones we just had Annie's 4 week checkup on Monday and she came it at 9lbs, and 21.5 inches so we are moving right along!

Lots more sleep this week and Annie is much happier...hopefully it lasts!

This video is Annie hanging out with me this morning...it finally feels like winter here, (thank god) so a nice day at home felt lovely!

(make sure to let the video buffer before pushing play, the file is large)

Annie's Hair

Annie's hair is quite hysterical to me. Most of you dont often see the back, and I think you would be surprised at what is going on! The front is bald with light whisps here and there, the sides are short and auburn like some of the folks on my side of the family (it's not just the flash, it actually has a lot of red in it) and the back is long and dark brown. She is growing quite the mullet in the back, now if only the sides would start to catch up we can start to use all the cute clips we have. If it doesn't I'm thinking we should start to do a back-pony like cheesy bald guys from the 80's...

Hit the Road Jack

Our first walk with Daddy! I have taken Annie on a few walks during the week but the weather has been so great here that Adam and I decided to go out together with Annie and take a walk by the water where we live. We had a great time. We saw some ducks, and geese, dogs and other babies. Just like all our other outings, Annie slept through the whole thing.

Thank you Kerstin!

Today Annie wore the outfit that cousin Kerstin brought for her and she was cute as a dot in all her dots!
The outfit was the perfect thing to wear on her first walk with daddy. Didn't you hear? Polka dots are the new black! They are also made cuter by pairing them with any hat that has ears. What is it that is so cute about putting animal feet and ears on babies?!?

Nap Time

As Annie has gotten more and more alert she has also not wanted to sleep very much. She has also had some massive diapers lately, which has been less than comfortable for her. Both of these are not so fun at 1 am 2 am 3 am 4 am 5 am etc ;-).

Needless to say that leads to one tired mommy. Adam took a PTO day today to stay home and help out which was so sweet. He and Annie had a good nap time together this afternoon...hopefully her calmer day today will lead to a calmer night tonight!

We are hoping to have somewhat of a pattern in tact by month 2 so we can start to visit Grammy's :-)and others. If we dont have a at least some predictability people will need to come see us until we get there..anyone up for the 3 am feeding?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yes, that is a pacifier you see! Thank god. She was able to suck on it on her own without spitting it out for 10 minutes straight. This was a first as before she was wholly uninterested. It gave us 10 minutes of quiet which felt as good as finding Gucci on sale at Neimans!

This is my favorite picture. Adam was beat, and what I love more about it is he fell asleep reading cookie magazine and not PC world or Playboy!

So many new friends!

We had more visitors today. Annie is quite popular with the boys. Today Kellen came over with his mommy Shannon. They had a good time staring at the ceiling together, crying, eating, and napping. Annie is really hoping he will call for a second date.

Something really good must have been on TV!

Sunday Visits

Cousin Kerstin and Kerren and Nate came to visit Annie today. Kerstin is gearing up to have a little girl of her own and Kerren is an old pro with Nate who is 8 months old!

Nate thinks Annie is pretty cute...he asked her out for a date next Saturday but her daddy said no.
Adam is a natural...lets have a second!

Kerstin is ready!

Annie had a bit of gas, she is normally not cherry red!

We do exist!!

Adam and I realized we did not have many pics of us with Annie so we took some today... then I had to take a few of her in her little hoodie...does this kid have the cutest clothes or what!!
